Rogue midwives collectively bring almost 50 years of knowledge and experience. Working as a team, we often refer to ourselves as "the hive collective" to offer your best care!
Prior to her service as a midwife, Willa attended various colleges studying for her bachelors of nursing, early childhood education, and general studies, has experience working in the computer-tech industry, and has been a business owner with her husband. Never feeling fulfilled she continued to search out her life’s passion of service and teaching. Having a deep desire to serve others in natural birth and informed choice, Willa was led to and graduated from Via Vita Midwifery School and spent years in homebirth and birth center practices in several Idaho locations, Utah, the Oregon coast, and was the Clinical Director for Trillium Waterbirth Center. Willa is a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) through the nationally recognized North American Registry of Midwives (NARM) and an Oregon State Licensed Midwife (LDM). She is certified in Pre to Postnatal Massage, CPR/AED, HBB, NRP, and is a trained DONA doula and Childbirth Educator. She has previously been a Traditional Naturopathy Doctorate student at the Avicenna Institute in Nutritional Healing, Master Herbology, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Iridology, and Homeopathy and will graduate with a BA in Public Administration, Community Health from UHWO next fall. Willa also currently serves as the Southern Oregon Representative for the Oregon Midwifery Council. Deeply inspired and passionate about family, she thrives on laughter and chaos with her husband, children, and dogs.
